Dress, Dress, Pants! What I'm wearing lately.

Here are a few recent outfit shots.

I decided to dress down this pretty silk dress.  I left off the sash and kept the jewelry simple and the shoes flat.  I wanted something easy and effortless.

Dress: Arribada Current Dress
Shoes: Chie Mihara
Bracelets: Target

I adore shift dresses but find the majority to be difficult to wear as they tend to be a tad too wide.  I love the cut of this dress because it actually has a lovely a-line fit starting at my high waist.  I think this is the most flattering silhouette on my body.  I also love that this older Anthropologie dress is not only cotton but the lining is cotton as well.  Natural fabrics aren't the norm at Anthropologie anymore and I am constantly label checking.  I end up disappointed in linings most of the time.
Outfit Details:
Dress: Blooming Branches Shift
Shoes: Old from Anthro

After wearing dresses for days I decided to pull out some linen slacks for a change.  I love the seashell coral pink of this pair.

Outfit Details:
Top: Lemon Chiffon Blouse
Pants: Easy Navigation Wide Legs
Necklace: Submerged Necklace
Sandals: Rainbow Urchin by Lucky Penny

Thanks to all 16 of my followers for looking at my lil blog.  I had no idea it would be so difficult to gain followers.  If anyone wants to chime in with suggestions on making this blog better I am all ears.  I know my photography sucks but I don't have a photographer and my DSLR doesn't work with a remote so I'm afraid I won't get much better pics than you see here but I would love to hear anything you have to say anyway. :)

    1. Thank you! I don't want to link the blog to Facebook though; this blog is my dirty little secret. Only one super-sleuthing friend knows; not even my husband is aware I have this blog.

  2. Hi Drew, I follow your blog even though I have not joined your followers list. I tend to just add new blogs I want to keep up with on my RSS reader & never remember to go into my Google settings to join a followers list. So don't be the least bit surprised if there are others like me that tend to so the same thing. Yeah it skews your numbers when it comes to actual followers - but some of my fav blogs are the ones with just a few followers. Feels more homey.
Anyways, while I appreciate Anthropologie & find their offerings unique - it's funner for me to see what yall get from Anthro 'cause everything I like ends up a total failure/pass. I only have 1 sweater from Anthro that I kept - but I've bought & subsequently returned everything else. Still I like seeIng how everyone else manages to make Anthro work for them.

    1. Ah, Thanks Jane! I wasn't trying to be whiney, I was just surprised that it takes time to really build a following. Other bloggers say it is hard work ; guess I should listen up. :)

Sorry stuff from Anthro has mainly disappointed you; I often buy and return too though when things don't work with other stuff in my closet. The flair to the clothing can be difficult to work with at times.
