A few shots of my recent outfits.

Here are a few of my recent outfits.  I have put on five pounds that increases my bottom half by one size so I am getting limited in what I can wear.  I am turning 35 in a few weeks and those rumors about slowing metabolism and gaining weight as you get older are coming true.  Um, soooo not my birthday wish.  I am trying to lose the weight, if only to fit my clothes, but darn it if those pounds will not just melt off. And darn it but I want my cookies!  And cake.  And candy bars.  Hmmm, if I only knew how to lose this stubborn weight I gained...

  1. Love the first outfit! Any details on the sweater, it's so cute...Is it from Anthro?
Also, are those Frye boots...They are rockin' :D

I'm lucky I don't crave desert or candy and don't really like sweets too much but I do have a weakness for coffee and Starbucks that isn't good for my middle at all ;)

  2. Thank you! The sweater is from Anthro. It's really old though, maybe 2005/6ish?

Oh my goodness do I love me some Starbucks. That case is particularly dangerous; I try to stick with a biscotti when I get my afternoon coffee.

  3. You look fabulous, girlfriend! I'm not gonna try to beat into that you're perfect as is, because I know how we all know our own bodies when we're 2, 5, or 10 lbs. above "normal". Truth be told, I exercise to feel good, to be strong, and so I CAN eat what I want because I WON'T stop eating the cookies and cake when I want to. :) Not eating sugar the rest of my life is crazy talk. Love the layering outfit with the Hanalei Buttondown and that first outfit is so effortless hot mom. You go girl.

    1. Thanks, Molly! I am exactly like you. I do around 7 miles a day on the elliptical or treadmill just to stuff my face (ok, and have a healthy body). And YUUUM to cake and cookies; oh my goodness I swear I live for sweets. Thanks for the compliments and stopping by; I love your blog! And your new KS dress is TDF; so wish that was on the sample sale yesterday.
